I was honoured to be one of ten participants selected for the “Young Photographers presented by Nikon” programme at the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. This unique programme gave me the chance to gain hands-on experience in sports photography at an international level, under the mentorship of Lukas Schulze.

It was two unforgettable weeks surrounded by inspiring people and incredible moments. The programme took us across the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region, where I photographed everything from high-energy competitions to quiet, behind-the-scenes snapshots. Each assignment challenged me to push both my creative vision and technical skills further than I had before.
